iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Review

Posted on 03 November 2014 by yizhan

The September of 2014, as anticipated, saw the release of not one, but two Apple smartphones. The expected iPhone 6 was accompanied by a bigger version called the iPhone 6 Plus. Both high-end, and both struggling to top the market like Apple was used to in Job’s time, let’s see what these phones have got for us.

Design and Size

Apple had to do something about maintaining their strategy of compactness in smartphones all the while wanting the “big smartphone” fans to be attracted to Apple too, instead of going to their competitor, Samsung’s readily available large smartphones. For this, Apple introduced the iPhone 6, which has a 4.7” screen and a big brother smartphone for the big screen lovers, the 5.5” inch screen possessing iPhone 6 Plus. Win-win.

As the phones have elongated, they have also maintained slimness, being Apple’s slimmest ever phones, the iPhone 6 is 6.9mm thick whereas the 6 Plus is 7.1mm thick. As far as the screen is concerned, we have no idea why Apple only made the iPhone 6 Plus an HD display phone whereas the iPhone 6 has a 326PPi display, which is quite unimpressive.

So what’s new in the design? There isn’t much innovation to see here but rather more improved features. Since the iPhone 6 Plus is a huge device and quite hard to manage with one hand, Apple provided the Reachability feature that allows the top of the screen to come to middle screen for easy use. The problem? It looks annoying and I doubt many would use it. The better, improved keyboards are a plus, though. And of course, the new iPad-style landscape mode for homescreen is also wonderful, unfortunately it’s only for the 6 Plus.

Camera is one aspect where Apple excels – the quality is sharp and detailed, and the secondary cameras are impressive. Apple did not overlook the camera this time around either, and brought in new features for the camera like optical image stabilization and the Focus Pixel feature that enhances auto-focus ability, and also improved the overall camera quality. For the video recording, improved aperture, burst mode option, and the new 240fps slo-mo options are available on both the phones.

Everyone expected better functionality and Apple served. The phones are backed up by a 1.39GHz dual-core 64-bit A8 chip accompanied by 1GB of ram. Even with quad and octa-core phones available out there, Apple manages to keep a full functioning high-end phone at dual-core.

Coming as a huge relief is better battery performance on both the phones. The phones’ non-removable case hides an 1810 mAh battery – not the biggest as there are more than 2100 mAh ones but it runs decently enough. The battery life still does not compare to iPhone 6’s competitor, Samsung Galaxy S5 as the S5 can last a day even after full use and the iPhone 6 can last about 13-15 hours on light usage. No matter, at least the battery life on the phones is a step from the previous models although there could have been a better improvement.

For the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, all we can say is it definitely is a step up from the 5S, the new tweaks and improvements to enjoy are good but considering that many of the improvements come from iOS 8 rather than the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, many will find themselves upgrading their previous models rather than buying the new phones. If the phones were a little less pricey, then the new features would have been more than great, but for such prices, consumers demand more.

For the people who do not think of money as a drawback, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is a great release from Apple. Longer battery life, faster performance, sleekness and bigger screens, and new improvements are all a plus.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Predictions and Rumors

Posted on 07 August 2014 by yizhan

Last year we saw the release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 which improved on its predecessor, the Note 2, in various ways and turned a bunch of heads. Following the success of the Note 3 it is only normal that Samsung would be launching the 4th device in the series which would most probably be titled the Note 4.

One more thing to keep in mind about Samsung and the Note 4 is that the company has been at a fairly steady decline recently and it will only go further unless they manage to bring out something revolutionary in their next flagship device and judging by what we’ve heard of the Note 4 so far, it definitely seems like a device that will turn the tides back into Samsung’s favor.

Samsung galaxy note 4

Before going into the specs and technical details of the device let’s get some main things like the release dates and price out of the way. From what has been revealed until now and calculating by previous Samsung release cycles, the most accurate prediction of the Note 4’s release date would probably be set in September and as for pricing, since the phone is packed with so much next generation hardware it is only normal that the expected price would reach at least somewhere around the 850$ mark at initial release.

Moving on to the screen size of the device let’s look at how the previous Note devices have turned out. The Note 1 had a 5.3 inch display; the Note 2 had a 5.5 inch display, the Note 3 had a 5.7 inch display so it’s pretty clear from the trend that each successive Note device has a screen size that is 0.2 inches larger than its predecessor so it really isn’t a far-fetched thought to expect that the Note 4 would be rocking a 5.9 inch display.

As for the inner hardware specifications, the phone has been confirmed to be running a QHD screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 and Gorilla Glass 3. As for screen technology, there have been rumors that the Note 4 might have a PLS display instead of their traditional AMOLED since it will reduce costs but this is still too soon to talk about.

Going further into the technical specifications, expect a 16 MP rear camera that is capable of recording videos at 2160p at 30 FPS and a 2 MP front facing camera that can record 1080p videos at 30 FPS.

The Note 4’ll most likely ship with a version of Android 4.4 Kitkat since Android L is still far from official release. Aside from this, expect your regular Quad-core/Octa-core processors and at the very least 3 GB of RAM included if not 4 GB. The GPU will most likely be an Adreno 420 or a Mali T-760 so you judging by these specifications you’ll be able to run any of the latest and hardware demanding Android apps for a long time to come.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Review

Posted on 14 June 2014 by yizhan

It’s been a couple of very competitive years for market giants like Apple, HTC, Sony, Nokia and Samsung. Needless to say that Samsung has been one of the top dogs with its innovative ideas and smart market campaigns to attain and retain its customers. Previously focusing on a ‘lifestyle campaign’, this time Samsung has shifted its focus towards ‘product campaign’. In regards to its latest launch of the Samsung Galaxy S5, Ines van Gennip, one of  Samsung’s marketing directors said that this time Samsung is taking on a strategy of” people inspired innovation.” And Samsung once again has come on top with the upgrades to its latest, most anticipated android smart phone of the year.

GAlaxy s5

The Samsung Galaxy S5 offers better quality screen with Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen, 16M colors and a multi-touch interface.  This 1920 x 1080 pixel display places the new S5 somewhere between the S4 and Note 3, in regards to overall size and weight. In terms of display, the GS5 is much brighter than the GS4, not just indoors, but in direct sunlight too. Significant improvement has been seen in the viewing and the colors are more lifelike even from severe angles. There has been immense improvement on the camera with its 5312 x 2988 pixels and phase detection autofocus. This 16MP camera also has LED flash. The new bigger design has the added benefit of a more durable battery life with what Samsung calls ‘Ultra Power Saving Mode’, which comes in handy to keep users afloat when the battery is critically low. It automatically changes phone settings to manage basic functions and restricts app use for reserving power for emergency functions.

There is plenty of power and storage, which is a nice improvement over its previous models. It supports up to 128 GB in addition to its existing internal memory of 16/32 GBs. Jam packed with Android v4.4.2, the phone supports up to 4G Networks. Speaking of speed, most versions of GS5 come with a new feature called Download Booster, which combines the power of WiFi, LTE and Grayskull to help to increase the download speed of larger files compared to the speed you get on any one network. This service however doesn’t support anything less than 30 MB and doesn’t apply to certain protocols like UDP and FTP.

This model is both water and dust resistant which adds to its appeal and the overall upgrades on the software have managed to satisfy the customers on a large scale. There are however areas which could have used more work, like the fingerprint scanner in the home button and the heart rate monitor which some people have even gone so far as to declare futile. The Touchwiz UI looks way better but can still be frustrating for some users. Despite much speculation about a metal design, Samsung has yet again stuck with its conventional design completely. Although waterproof, its dimpled back can hardly be termed an improvement over the past designs. And being a flagship phone, much more was expected from Samsung, especially when its competitors are eye candy like the HTC One M8. However there are pros to not having a particularly slippery phone considering the GS5 is 5 mm taller, 3mm wider and 0.2mm thicker than its predecessor the GS4, and a better grip never hurt anyone.

The GS5 is currently selling at a price of around 650 $, depending on carrier charges and the FOREX.
All in all if you’re looking for a smart phone that delivers, the GS5 is one of your best options. Looking at it from a perspective of market share and customer base, Samsung could’ve just sat still and still sold all that much product, considering that, it is obvious that Samsung is making an effort this time to keep its customers happy.

Samsung Galaxy S5 specs:
5.1-inch Super AMOLED display @ 1080×1920 pixels, 432ppi
Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 8974-AC 2.5GHz quad-core processor
Adreno 330 Graphics
16GB internal memory
up to 128GB via microSD card
LTE 150Mbps
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
Bluetooth 4.0
IP67 water & dust resistant
Fingerprint scanner
16 megapixel camera with AF, LED flash
1080p @ 30, 60fps, 4K @ 30fps

Details on the Upcoming Amazon Smartphone

Posted on 21 May 2014 by yizhan

Smart-phones are all the hype nowadays and every company wants to jump in on the bandwagon by making a flagship phone of their own and it seems the next company to do so will be Amazon. Their phone has been rumored for a long while now and there have also been leaks about its features and looks etc. and by what we know up until now, it’s definitely something you’ll want to pick up if you’re into high-tech smart-phones, that is of course if it manages to actually deliver all the features that have been mentioned about it.

amazon smartphone

Getting the basics out of the way, according to sources, the phone will have a 4.7 Inch screen and will be running a custom android version similar to the versions seen in the kindle fire tablets. The design of the phone is still unknown as it’s hidden under a protective shell so that unauthorized people don’t get any unwanted previews of it but if you were to guess from the design of the protective covering, it’s one of the traditional smart-phone designs similar to the ones you’d see in a trademark phone by someone like Samsung or Sony but don’t think that the design is set in stone, Amazon may very well decide to introduce a new design to it before shipping it out.. Other than that, since it is Amazon’s phone, there’s also a rumored data plan for it which grants bonuses and free content from the digital selections Amazon has to offer.

smart phone by amazon

The real game changing feature that Amazon is offering with the phone is the whole 3D interface. The interface design will be completely 3D and there will also feature gesture controls (think slightly similar to the Air Gestures seen in the Galaxy S4) which is certainly something that’s new to the smart-phone market since not many companies have focused on gesture based controls up until now other than Samsung of course with its Air and multiple other forms of gestures.. It will also feature other gestures other than the 3D ones such as if you’re browsing through movies, if you tilt your phone then it will display the IMDB rating of the movie you have highlighted above its thumbnail, this is just a small taste of the gesture controls that the phone will have to offer.

The Amazon phone will consist of a whopping six onboard cameras. Two of these cameras will be the regular front and rear mounted cameras used for taking pictures and capturing videos. Other than these two cameras, the other four will be infrared cameras that the phone will utilize for all the regular and 3D gesture controls, they must be offering a really large amount of gesture based controls if the phone has four onboard cameras built solely for this purpose. Putting gesture controls aside, many sources have stated that the phone will feature a completely new control scheme for how you control and navigate through your everyday apps.

Mobile Traffic Continues To Rise

Posted on 03 February 2014 by yizhan

The incredible growth of the smartphone market has given rise to the notion that mobile is ‘the future’ of the internet. Data released by IBM, through its Digital Analytics Benchmark marketing software, would certainly appear to corroborate this.
Indeed, the software, which tracks the buying activity on retail sites throughout the web, found that traffic generated through the use of mobile devices accounted for 48% of all online traffic on Christmas Day 2013, compared with 19.7% a year earlier – a staggering rise of 28.3%!
Great news for sites that put a lot of effort optimising for the site mobile use. Let’s take Metro Play Casino for example. Their mobile site has been designed with ease and speed in mind so the user can access their games instantly. Meaning they can play more and rush less. The increase in mobile traffic indicates people are playing their favourite slots games wherever and whenever they can. On the bus on the way to work, sat in the Doctor’s waiting room, even at home if a computer is out of reach.
So what are the reasons for the rise?
Mobile sales
Mobile traffic has been driven by the increasing popularity of both smartphones and tablet devices, with the latter in particular seeing a sharp rise in sales. This leads to the very real possibility that the tablet market will outstrip those of the PC and notebook markets combined over the coming year.
According to the data provided by IBM, mobile sales were up by 40% on Christmas Day 2013 compared to 2012, the devices themselves making up 29% of all sales during the Christmas period – a rise of 16% on the previous year.
Yet only 9% of online sales were completed using smartphones, whereas tablets were used to complete 19% of all purchases, illustrating the long held belief that people prefer using tablets to make purchases as they feel that they are more secure.
With regards to the smartphone devices used to generate traffic in the period immediately following Christmas Day, it would appear that as stated in an article by “that lots of people got brand new iPhones for Christmas”.
Indeed, iPhones generated a whopping 76.1% of traffic generated by smartphones. Apple’s nearest rival on this chart, Amazon, showed its Kindle Fire Tablets generated 9.4% of all mobile traffic, with all other devices seeing a fall in usage in this regard.
Rise in social media
The aforementioned article, rightly refers to the combination of mobile and social media by saying ‘get used to it because it’s not going away’.
Social media has in many ways become synonymous with mobile devices and it seems obvious that advertising on sites like Facebook have an influence on sales. The data provided by IBM illustrates that social media has also played a significant part in the rise in online sales, with Facebook in particular referring customers for an average spend of $72.01 (£44 approx.).

Take Your Cell Phone Abilities To New Heights With These Tips

Posted on 08 December 2013 by yizhan

Cell phones are something that tons of people use on a daily basis. This is probably something that you need to learn more about, and that’s what this article is here for. When you’re ready, you can read through the advice presented here to help you when you need to work with cell phones.

Debrand your phone if you want to increase the memory that you have. This means that you will remove all of the themes, logos and images of the company that it relates to, which will give you more ability to purchase ringtones and images from other providers of cell phone service.

Did you know that the battery in your cell phone has some reserved power? If you find that your cell phone battery is dead, and you have no way to charge it, enter the USSD “*3370#”. You will see up to a 50% increase in power. This reserve power will charge the next time you charge your phone.

Don’t bother with covers for your cell phone’s screen. There are many accessories that can improve your experience with your cell phone; cell phone covers usually aren’t one of them. Most cell phone screens are already scratch resistant, and the plastic cover will only make the touch screen less responsive.

If you are looking to upgrade your cell phone and you are told you have to pay a large fee, you should try to negotiate. Companies do not want to lose valuable customers, so they may be willing to waive this. Even if they say no, it will not hurt to ask.

There is reason to believe that the radiation produced by cell phones could cause brain tumors and other health problems. While there is no direct proof that this is true, it is better to be safe than sorry. Whenever you can, put your phone on speaker or plug a headset into it.

If you have a smartphone it can be tempting to leave it on all of the time so you never miss any social media updates. This is not a good idea because your phone needs to be restarted every day or two. This will keep unused programs from continuing to purge your memory.

A case isn’t needed for new phones. A hard material such as Kevlar or a carbon fiber is typically used by smartphone designers when the phone is built. Cases can help boost their strength, but they can make using the phone harder. Weigh your options carefully, and make a decision based on the kind of phone you have.

Don’t invest in the most expensive cell phone available on the market. There are plenty of great phones for half the price of a more expensive one. When you purchase overpriced phones, you are generally paying for the level of popularity they have and the brand name. More affordable phones can be just as great, but perhaps not as popular as an iPhone.

If you need to get a new cellphone, look for one of the latest model smart phones. These phones have nearly the capability of an Ipad or similar device that connects to the internet. This will allow you to check your email, pay bills and access online information away from home.

Make sure your plan is the right one for you. There are many, many plans when it comes to cell phones and it is important that you get the one that best fits your needs. For instance, if you text a lot, make sure your plan covers this or you could be left paying a lot of overage.

As you can see, working with cell phones is something that you can easily do. Just take into account what you’ve read here and when all is said and done you should do just fine. You'll be entering into the world of cell phones armed with the best knowledge there is!

Flat Look: Future-Proofing iOS Design

Posted on 27 November 2013 by Ryan Benson

Apple’s iOS 7 has finally washed its hands off the tacky skeuomorphic look and adopted the flat design. It is a giant leap ahead for Apple devices. And we just don’t mean the iPhones and iPads but futuristic devices such as iWatch, iTV, and even iCar. John Ive battled the odds to ensure that Apple’s mobile operating system iOS 7 got the much needed overhaul. But it was not an easy task. After all, Steve Jobs was allegedly a fan of skeuomorphism, as was iOS creator Scott Forstall (said to his protégé). But Jony Ive wasn’t a skeuomorphic fan resulting in what became the much touted skeuomorphic vs flat debate.

ios7With Scott Frostall’s departure, it looked like the pro-flat design team outnumbered the skeuomorphic side. It was about time that the horribly outdated skeuomorphic look resembling real objects, gaudy gradients, and faux textures had to go. Trying to mimic real objects and mislead audience is clearly a thing of past. Instead, iOS 7 sports clean, simple, and two-dimensional interfaces. iOS 7 appreciates the fact that users are interacting with a flat screen and don’t need to be guided to push buttons.

There is no denying that the flat look aligns with Apple’s long-term goals and is not limited to smartphones and tablets. But Apple thinks big and thinks ahead of the curve. Back in June 2013, during the opening keynote of the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), Apple announced iOS in the Car which allows iOS devices to work with manufacturers’ built-in in-car systems. iOS in the Car would allow to make quick calls, listen to music, send messages, and access maps from in-dash screen.

Well, and as it turns out that operating system designed to be flat design is much suitable to running on multiple devices compared to skeuomorphic designed system. While the visual design is almost similar to that of iOS 7 on the iPhone or iPad, its UI is strikingly different with big rectangular buttons. Obviously safety is the driving force. While iOS In The Car uses buttons of different shapes and sizes it is easy to quickly and safely push a button without taking your eyes off the road because all icons are flat.

The message is subtle yet clear. Apple is future-proofing its design with the flat look of its operating system. And iOS 7 is a step in the right direction.

Easy to adapt to new devices: iOS 7 icons can be expanded both vertically and horizontally. It is easy to fill the blank space with the colors on the edges, making it very easy for Apple to adapt visual language to new devices. Take for instance the long-rumored HDTV, Apple will not have to create entirely new icons for this new interface. Rather the flat design allows them to expand their existing icons to fit any shape effortlessly. This would have not been possible with the skeumorphic design. Imagine the complexity involved in interpreting complicated patterns, shadows, texture, and gradients for each new device.

Does not distort: Skeuomorphism looks strange and funny on curved displays. On the other hand, flat designs don’t distort. While all displays are flat right now, there is no denying that future display will come in all shapes and sizes. Iwatch is widely speculated to be curved. With flat UI, Apple has already prepared itself for future inventions be it curved or 3-D displays.

Wrapping up: Now that Apple has broken the shackles of skeuomorphism, iOS is clearly preparing to embrace the future. Be it curved display or HDTV, or groundbreaking gadgets, flat makes iOS’s design more adaptive to changes, futuristic, and agile.

Top Tips To Help You Get The Most From Your Cell Phone

Posted on 07 November 2013 by yizhan

When it comes to cell phones, no two are the same. Whether you have have a Samsung flip phone or you can have an iPhone, you will find great benefits from the tips located below. Any cell phone user should learn all they can about the device, and today is the day!

Do not use a screen protector on your phone. These may look like a practical investment at first as they will reduce the amount of glare that you have during the day, but will also reduce the visibility on your phone. Air bubbles will also result if you do not put them on properly.

Don’t rush into buying the latest, greatest phone. Sometimes it’s just not worth it. Sometimes updates to phones are relatively minor. Read several reviews of new models before deciding if you need to make a purchase. It’s likely you don’t.

If you have a weak signal, try not to use your phone. It will drain the battery very quickly. Also, if you have your phone on your person, do not shove it down into the depths of your purse or briefcase, as it is unlikely to get a good signal down there. If you are concerned that your signal is weak, it is best to turn the phone off completely.

technology news

If you want to listen to music on your cell phone, you may want to install a cloud storage application. This way, you can save your favorites to it without using the memory in your phone. You can also do this with pictures. Additionally, it keeps your music and pictures safe if something happens to your phone.

Do not use the Wi-Fi on your cell phone if you are in a place that has access to a computer. Many people do not realize that this is an easy way to rack up excess bills. You should log onto the computer and save the data usage for the times that you really need it.

Haggle a bit when shopping for your next phone. You generally wouldn’t expect haggling to work in a retail setting, but it is often effective in the case of buying a new cell phone. Try it for yourself. It can’t hurt, and people often get between 50 and 100 dollars knocked off the price.

Charge your phone with a power booster or a pack that attaches to your cell phone. This device will have a full charge already so you can charge your phone on the go and have backup energy when you need it most. You will just need to charge this pack in advance for this to work.

Most smartphones lack an optical zoom feature. To photograph an object up close, you must physically move nearer to it. There are also lenses that you can buy that will fit onto your smartphone that will let you zoom in.

If you have a teen and they are in need of a new phone, you should think about buying them one that is prepaid. This will stop them from using the phone too much and running up a huge bill. They will be more disciplined once they know they have a certain allotment of texts, talk minutes and data that can be used monthly.

If you do not need a cellphone with internet connection capability, check out one of the several prepaid phones. These cellphones do not require that you sign a contract, and you can have phone service for as little as a few dollars a month. Many seniors prefer these phones since they are not interested in anything other than phone service away from home.

Whether you want to learn how to find the best apps, buy the best phone or just decide between Android, iOS or Windows, knowledge is power. The advice here is a great start, but don’t stop learning now! Keep reading, developing your mastery of cell phones so you can use them to your advantage.

Which 2013 smartphone is the best for gaming

Posted on 23 October 2013 by yizhan

Many of us use our smartphones for games. Some prefer the addictive challenge of a puzzler such as Cut the Rope, whereas others opt for the online casino or an arcade type adventure game. This means that one of our prime concerns when buying a smartphone should be: Which phone is best for gaming in 2013?

Android have a host of stylish phones which are great for gaming, as the Google Play store becomes ever more bountiful, but then Windows phones also have a fast developing app market. With all that in mind, it’s still nevertheless the iTunes store and the iPhone that lead the way for many critics and the iPhone5s looks set to reinforce Apple’s position.

When considering gaming abilities we should look at things like storage – 32or 64GB is preferable as games and heavy Operating Systems really fill a phone up – screen size, processing power and RAM. The latest iPhone ticks all of these boxes and the A7/M7 processing combination really makes the phone a mark of things to come.

That’s not to say Android has been left behind and many will still prefer the slightly larger screen of the Samsung Galaxy S4 or the sound capabilities of the HTC One. This new breed of Android phones have huge quad core processors to keep those graphics heavy arcade action games ticking along, and the user interfaces are great for swiping and touching the screen.

Phones like the Sony Xperia Z have really taken the market by storm, offering a 5inch display, Snapdragon processor and 2GB RAM. The Google Nexus 4 represents how much Google’s products are having an impact on the market. It’s fantastic value and has good size 4.7inch screen for decent visibility.

Remember, if you’re a fan of perusing online betting markets or playing online casino games, a larger screen can be just what you need. Anything above 4.5inches is about right.

Its powerful camera and impressive user memory with cloud storage build a well supported environment with easily to use controls.. In terms of design look for the Nokia Lumia 900 probably the most appealing from the two devices. The whole Lumia range of handsets boast excellent design and being the premium model within the range the Lumia 900 is probably the most attractive of most of them. The phone is not actually similar to every other phone in the marketplace which is in contrast to the Titan 2 which looks very just like a number of other phones that HTC have released over the last two years. The Nokia sports a really angular design and the main body with the phone is manufactured out of a single little bit of Polycarbonate which feels very robust and appears superb. The device measures 127.8 x 68.5 x 11.5mm whilst the weight of the model tips the scales in a rather heavy 160 grammes. The Titan 2 can be an even larger handset with thanks to the massive 4.7 inch screen that it incorporates. The model measures 132 x 69 x 13mm but precisely what is surprising relating to this model is which it weighs 13 grammes under the Lumia at 147 grammes. The HTC is also a very well built cellular phone and even though it lacks the uni body form of its rival it’s built from some lovely looking metals which help it to appear expensive and in addition feel adequately made. Both of those handsets give you a striking design and great build quality but the Lumia 900 arrives on top due to its more unusual appearance and more compact dimensions.. This provides probably probably the most desktop-like browsing experience entirely on a cell phone app, and anyone who is familiar with the computer version of IE will instantly find that it is easy to use, which is even aesthetically very much like the software used on millions of desktop and notebooks all over the world. The functions may also be essentially the same; multi-tab browsing, back/forward functions, HTML and flash compatibility means that web sites appear virtually the identical as on a computer even if they have embedded videos or flash graphics..

If you would like something different for the iOS or Android phones that happen to be currently proving so popular, the Nokia Lumia 900 would be my top recommendation. The phone sports some impressive hardware, as well as the software is equally impressive, albeit less well known than iOS and Android.. Two of probably the most impressive Windows devices are the newest Nokia Lumia 900 along with the HTC Titan 2 which both feature some powerful hardware and great features. We take apple iphone 4 design and screen quality present on both of those new models.. Being the 2 flagship devices of their respective ranges both models feature the latest in screen technology even though the HTC One X impresses us slightly more with this department. The models uses a really large 4.7 inch display which runs around the very latest Super IPS LCD2 technology which produces vivid colours and excellent viewing angles. In terms of resolution the One X can present 1280 x 720 pixels which leads to a fantastic pixel density of 312PPI. The multi touchscreen technology is made out of Gorilla Glass that’s much stronger than traditional glass panels which will help it to hold in better condition longer. The Nokia Lumia 900 runs on the smaller screen which utilises Super AMOLED technology. This kind of display is considered by many people as being the best sort of screen in the marketplace but the Nokia loses ground for the HTC by offering a lower resolution. The handset is capable of showing 800 x 480 which leads to a much lower pixel density of 217 pixels per inch. There is no doubt this display is successful but when compared to the One X the HTC device definitely holds the top hand for screen performance..

The Nokia Lumia 900 and the HTC Titan 2 are two superb phones that run for the excellent Windows os. Both of the models boast stylish looks nevertheless the Nokia does provide a slightly more unusual design as the model also produces superior image quality on its smaller display.. The Nokia Lumia 900 impresses with its camera specification and the results may also be fantastic. When we tested your camera we found out that the contrast and colour saturation levels were superb and we were also pleasantly surprised using the quality of images taken indoors, an area where many camera features often struggle. A dual LED flash is found on your camera and this is very useful when trying to take a photograph when lighting conditions are lower than perfect. We did find however how the photos taken with the flash lacked large that is found on images captured without feature. Once the images have been captured users using a Hotmail account can upload the crooks to the Skydrive service, a cloud storage system that offers 25GB of free storage for Hotmail members. This is really a great way of copying all photos taken about the device.. The Nokia Lumia 900 is one of the most eye catching devices available and therefore it easily outshines the Galaxy S3 for design. The model is comparable in looks for the other Lumia handsets that are available even though the materials utilized on this handset do feel more premium compared to its sibling models. Rather than adopt the curved chassis used by many modern phones the Lumia 900 sports a significantly more angular design. The main body is manufactured out of a top quality polycarbonate material as well as constructed from just one piece of this material which helps to result in the phone feel very robust. In terms of dimensions the phone measures 127.8 x 68.5 x 11.5mm and weighs 160 grammes. The Samsung Galaxy S3 boast some super specification but unfortunately the design with the model isn’t quite as impressive. We would have liked to see the model sport similar styling towards the very modern looking Galaxy S2 but Samsung have opted to utilize a more pebble like design that is comparable to numerous other handsets. In a bid to hold the weight in the handset down to a minimum the product uses a very lightweight cheap. Although this enables the product to weigh just 133 grammes the fabric does not feel totally robust inside your hand that is a shame from a flagship model. Considering that model sports a 4.7 inch display the physical size is very good. The model posseses an incredible depth of just 8.6mm rendering it one from the slimmest devices on the market. In terms of styling the Lumia 900 easily eclipses its rivals thanks to great construction and a modern design.. The cheap Nokia Lumia 900 is expected to be released in UK within the near future. Even though you can find innumerable mobile phones in the market, this phone comes with this much splendid specs regarding their operating system, storage, camera, and multimedia features. So, as opposed to going for conventional Smartphones inside the mobile market, choosing to buy the Nokia Lumia 900 is needless to say a worthy choice..

The Nokia Lumia 900 certainly boasts some spectacular messaging facilities. SMS, E mail and IM services are supported and the Windows OS does an admirable job of making all of those services available directly from your main home screen via the messaging tile.. A really interesting element in the Creative Studio application to the Nokia Lumia 900 is it allows users to capture excellent panoramic photographs. This means that rather than being restricted for the content available in a single shot the software program cleverly stitches together a series of photographs while using final result being a single image of your entire surroundings. To capture this type of shot the user simply takes just one shot to start with then moves the device around while being guided by instructions on the watch’s screen. When the process is fully gone Creative Studio takes the info from all of such snaps and fosters one single image. This is perfect in some scenarios for example capturing the view in a sporting event or even a local landmark. If you no n’t need to apply specific filters to your photograph but you want to make minor changes in make the look look a little better a car fix mode is likely to make small modifications that enhance the style without which makes it look very different in the original shot.. The Nokia Lumia 900 is really a powerful device that includes Qualcomm Snapdragon hardware. Just like greater mid range Lumia 800 the device boasts a 1.4Ghz single core processor that forms part in the impressive MSM8255T chipset. Despite being one particular core processor this chip delivers great performance speeds because of the excellent power efficiency that this Windows OS boasts. A powerful graphics processing unit can be included for this device. This Adreno 205 chip helps the product to easily handle the complex and visually attractive interface that this operating system uses. The HTC Titan 2 is incredibly evenly matched using the Nokia in this department. This phone also uses an incredibly fast single core chip but a better powerful one that’s clocked at 1.5Ghz. This chip forms part of the same Snapdragon setup that’s used by the Lumia 900 however the extra power is cancelled out with the larger screen dimensions offered by this device. Users will see it really tough to differentiate between these two handsets with this area with both delivering excellent operation speeds and good multi tasking features.. The Nokia Lumia 900 along with the HTC One X both deliver similar operation speeds even though the quad core technology present about the HTC will benefit the handset within the future. In terms of photography the models offer a similar standard of image quality but the HTC impresses us more with thanks to the sheer number of excellent additional features who’s incorporates..
