There's plenty of talk about the need to support women in tech, but for at least one high profile woman in technology — there's a reasonable argument to be made that education should be 'blind' to gender.

PSP2/NGP “Next Generation Portable”

Posted on 31 January 2011 by yizhan

Sony revealed their newest PlayStation Portable in an event at Tokyo. It was the rumored PSP2 with the codename “NGP” or Next Generation Portable.  The PSP2 has a lot of changes and said to be as powerful as the PlayStation 3.  Equipped with   a high-resolution, touch-sensitive OLED screen that’s larger than the original PSP screen, tilt-sensitive SIXAXIS controls, dual analog sticks, front and back-facing cameras, and a touch sensitive back panel. The PSP2 uses an all-new form of media storage for games, a small flash memory card that is dedicated for NGP software titles.  This card is capable of storing the full game data and other add-on contents — no more UMD (a very smart move for Sony  huh).  The PSP2 NGP should be out maybe this holiday in Japan.

iPhone 4's antenna issue resolved

Posted on 29 June 2010 by yizhan

The problem with the iPhone4’s antenna, loosing signal while gripping lower portion which we seldom do when we are making a call, has been a problem since the day it was released in the public. almost everybody noticed this problem.  Well Apple responded on this issue  and said.

“Gripping any mobile phone will result in some attenuation of its antenna performance, with certain places being worse than others depending on the placement of the antennas. This is a fact of life for every wireless phone. If you ever experience this on your iPhone 4, avoid gripping it in the lower left corner in a way that covers both sides of the black strip in the metal band, or simply use one of many available cases.”

I’ve read some articles from other blogs and found out that by just putting a bumper ( new product by apple for the iPhone 4) it will solve the issue of the antenna problem. The bumper is a plastic strips that wraps around the iPhone 4 and comes up with different colors that gives stylish look for your iPhone 4. The bumper cost $29.00 and only pits with the iPhone 4

As Apple mention, by avoiding to grip the lower left corner of the iPhone 4 or by just putting a protective casing, signal strength will not drop. Well in this case putting a bumper to your iPhone 4 will resolve the issue. hmm… looks like a good investment to me.
